While calling a ride can cost around $60, a DUI in its entirety can cost up to $20,000. This includes:
CHP's Designated Driver Program (DDP) The Department's dedication to reducing DUI-related traffic accidents is also shown in its support of the Designated Driver program. Designated Driver is designed not only to educate the public about the dangers of drinking and driving, but also to encourage and reward those who choose not to drink in order to safely drive others home. Grief Counseling Many times, drinking is a symptom of a larger problem such as grief, depression and coping with loss. Our county partners with the Granite Wellness Center to help address these larger issues. Learn more
