Placer expands CDRA virtual appointments in Tahoe City, decreases in-person appointment availability
Published on Aug. 18, 2021
The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency in Tahoe City is updating in-person counter services until further notice.
Beginning Aug. 23, in-person services will only be available, in the Tahoe City office, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and unavailable Mondays and Fridays.
Virtual appointments will be available to customers Monday through Thursday along with a suite of services available 24/7 through the county’s eServices online platform. Virtual appointments are unavailable on Fridays at this time.
Over-the-counter plan check appointments are only available on Wednesdays.
eServices allows customers to schedule in-person and virtual appointments and electronically submit applications for residential and commercial development projects. Customers can also lookup zoning requirements, review permit history and more. Visit the eServices webpage at https://www.placer.ca.gov/eservices.
Following an appointment request, customers will be contacted by county staff with a meeting invitation and provided the option of either the virtual or in-person appointment.
Virtual appointments will be held via Microsoft Teams, an online video-conferencing application similar to Zoom. Customers should include their email address when making an appointment through the eServices online feature.
Customers experiencing technical difficulties with Microsoft Teams are encouraged to contact the CDRA office in Tahoe City for assistance at 530-581-6200.
For virtual appointments, please download the Microsoft Teams application on your smartphone (Google Play or Apple App stores), tablet, laptop or personal computer.
