July 1 will mark the launch of 211 Placer, the new information and referral system in Placer County. 211 Placer is a free, confidential, multilingual information line and website that connects people with the services and resources in their community.

Fire protection services town hall
County residents are encouraged to attend a virtual town hall meeting with two members of the Placer County Board of Supervisors and the County Fire Chief to discuss wildfire preparations and fire protection services as we move into the height of fire season.

Audit Committee gives county an A rating
Placer County’s accounting and auditing processes have been given a clean bill of health from the Placer County Audit Committee. Board approves CAL FIRE contract renewal
The Placer County Board of Supervisors approved a resolution today authorizing a $13.6 million CAL FIRE contract, which includes first-time funding for a new fire marshal and provides fire service and medical response to nearly one-third of the county.
