Small Business Administration

The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to California small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of COVID-19. For more information on SBA disaster assistance here.

The Placer County Business Advantage Network is a team of workforce development professionals that provide no-cost hiring assistance to businesses and information regarding training and hiring opportunities to job seekers.

Paycheck Protection Program

Pandemic  Unemployment Assistance (PUA)

As part of the federal CARES  Act, the new Pandemic  Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program helps unemployed Californians who are business owners, self-employed, independent contractors, have limited work history, and others not usually eligible for regular state UI benefits who are out of business or services are significantly reduced as a direct result of the pandemic.
