Senior citizens and their loved ones can get help preparing for some of the challenges that come with aging by attending an upcoming senior resource fair. The resource fair will take place June 4 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Maidu Senior Center, located at 1550 Maidu Drive in Roseville. Numerous government, private and nonprofit organizations will be available to answer questions.
Seniors, their family members and local support providers can find information about transportation, meals, victimization, identity theft, caregiving, memory issues, fall prevention, medication assistance, finances, legal documents and more.
The event is hosted by Placer PROTECT, a multi-disciplinary task force dedicated to elder abuse investigations, victim support and community awareness.
