- Community housing forum on Dollar Creek Crossing
Published May 14, 2019
Continuing to seek community input on local housing in eastern Placer County, we’re hosting a community meeting with the developer to discuss the proposed Dollar Creek Crossing project concept in Tahoe City’s Dollar Hill area. The meeting will be an “open house” style – drop in anytime from 6 to 8 p.m. - on May 20th in Tahoe City. The design team will present project updates from 6-6:30 p.m., with a Q&A from 6:30 – 8 p.m.
This project aims to provide new workforce housing close to jobs, transit, trails, recreation and services. A mix of affordable rentals and market rate achievable housing will be developed to meet a range of income levels.
Join representatives from the Mountain Housing Council, Placer County and the team selected through community input to develop the project - Related, California, Pacific Companies and Dinsmore Sierra - to discuss guiding principles for the project, share your feedback on the current project concept and learn more about project timeline and additional opportunities for community involvement.
