Planning Services
The coronavirus pandemic has temporarily changed our public counter hours. We continue to provide a full range of Planning, Engineering, Building and Inspection services to customers, from permit application to final inspection. We are also open to customers via our award-winning online portal – eServices – which provides a variety of functions available 24/7.
Our e-Services website allows citizens to submit commercial and residential development project permit applications online.

The Planning Services Division provides a number of services, including:
- Assists the Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission in planning for growth
- Enforces the Placer County Zoning Ordinance
