Agricultural Commission
The purpose of the Agricultural Commission is to promote and protect agricultural interests in Placer County for present and future generations.

Area 4 Agency on Aging Advisory Council

Bond Screening Committee
The Bond Screening Committee shall advise and make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on matters of assessment district and community facility district proceedings, including bonds, which may come before the Board of Supervisors.

Building Appeals Board
The Board hears and determines appeals from Code interpretations of Building Inspector.

Civil Service Commission
The Commission purpose is to establish an equitable and uniform procedure for dealing with personnel matters, and to place County employment on a merit basis for the purpose of obtaining the highest efficiency and assuring that the best qualified persons available shall be brought into the service of the County.

County Audit Committee
The County Audit Committee shall assist the Board of Supervisors in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities by monitoring the financial reporting process, the overall systems of internal control and risk mitigation, compliance with laws and regulations, and the independence and performance of the County's internal and external auditors.

The Commission's purpose is to advise the Board of Supervisors on all matters relating to public recreation projects.

The Board's purpose is to promote, coordinate and effect on a common basis, the goals and objectives applicable to the operation and maintenance of its fire department activities, to maintain and improve the levels of service.

The Economic Development Board shall serve as the Steering Committee for oversight and implementation of a countywide economic development roadmap completed in 2009.
