Committees & Commissions

There are nearly two hundred committees and commissions that are involved in Placer County business. They provide information to or collect information from county residents and other interested parties, or other governmental agencies. They also make decisions, or provide advice and assistance to the Board or to other county decision-making bodies, county officials, or staff. Supervisor Gore sits on fifteen committees and commissions and is an alternate on seven.

Vacancies on committees and commissions can occur unexpectedly. To obtain more information on how to serve on a committee or commission, refer to the Committees and Commissions page or print an application (PDF).
