The Board holds monthly meetings alternating between Roseville and Auburn. Public participation and feedback are welcomed by the Board as members review programs and receive staff reports. Purpose

This board is comprised of a group of board-appointed community members representing consumers, family members, and public interest who promote citizen and consumer participation in provision and evaluation of the mental health systems of care. As part of providing oversight, Board members assist in establishing measurable service delivery outcomes; review and make recommendations to annual performance contracts; and advise the Board of Supervisors on issues relevant to the mental health and substance use services that are provided in Placer County.
