Family Medical Leave Act & California Family Rights Act

Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the California Family Rights Act (CFRA) are Federal and State laws. They typically run concurrently. These laws require Placer County, as an employer, to provide unpaid leave to eligible employees. Up to 12 weeks are provided for certain family and medical reasons..
