- Grants & Incentives
The District offers information on a variety of incentive or grant programs to reduce air pollution.
The Clean Air Grant Program provides monetary grants to private companies and public agencies to clean up their heavy-duty engines beyond that which is required by law or regulation through repowering, replacing or retrofitting their engines, vehicles or equipment.
The Program’s focus is to reduce exposure in communities most impacted by air pollution and uses a variety of strategies including community-level monitoring, uniform emission reporting across the State, stronger regulation of pollution sources and incentives for both mobile and stationary sources.
You may be eligible for cash to replace your uncertified wood stove or fireplace! Old wood stoves and inserts manufactured before 1990 waste firewood, pollute the air in your neighborhood, and create dust inside your home.
These pages provide information about currently open or upcoming funding opportunities, funding webinars and workshops, funding searching tools, and past funding programs that are administered outside the District.
