Lake Tahoe Portion of Placer County
Call 530-584-2322 or view the Defensible Space Chipping website for more information. This program is managed by the North Tahoe Fire Protection District for the Placer County portion of Lake Tahoe area, including the Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadow areas.
Composting
Composting is easy and can be done at home. Contact the U.C. Davis Master Gardeners’ Rotline at 530-889-7399 for information on how to compost.
Recycling
