Child Support Services works with parents and guardians to establish a partnership to provide their children with financial and medical support. This is achieved by locating each parent, establishing paternity and support obligations, and enforcing child support orders.

The Ombudsperson works as an advocate for customers to ensure fair and equitable treatment throughout the child support process. Customers should contact the Ombudsperson whenever they feel their issue or concern with the department needs independent review. You can call the Ombudsperson at 916-435-5757.
This workshop is held the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Each month you will be greeted by experienced child support professionals who are able to offer solutions to even the most challenging situations. Attendance is free, no reservation required, and the purpose is to educate and assist the public, whether or not a child support case has been established. Customers who are seeking guidance with any aspect of their child support court order are also encouraged to attend.
