The PCAPCD Board Of Directors are appointed from elected officials within the County's jurisdictions and the term of office is concurrent with their official term of office for the jurisdiction they represent, or as new appointments are made by the respective appointing authority.

The District Hearing Board is a statutory body appointed by the District Board of Directors to hear petitions for variances or modifications from air pollution rules or permit conditions, including the denial, approval or revocation of a permit and orders for abatement (per HSC 40801).

Building Board of Appeals
The Building Board of Appeals considers appeals of Code interpretations. The Board has the authority to determine the suitability of, and authorize the substitution of, materials and types of construction equipment to those specified by this Code and the State Housing Law.
Capital Projects Advisory (CAP) Committee
The purpose of this committee is to recommend Tourism Master Plan priorities and capital projects to the Placer County Board of Supervisors to implement the Tourism Master Plan and Transient Occupancy Tax Policy in eastern Placer County.
